Huge fire leaves 16 NJ residents homeless

Heavy fire tore through a multi-family home in Paterson overnight, leaving 16 residents homeless. Eyewitness News is told the blaze broke out on Van Houten Street just after midnight. Heavy flames shot through the large building, multi-family home.

Sixteen residents -- 14 adults and two children -- fled the flames. They were all left homeless.

Officials say no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
