1 person killed in Conn. truck accident

STONINGTON, Conn. State police said the driver had been tentatively identified Saturday. But they weren't releasing a name because the victim was badly burned and they needed to confirm the person's identity with dental records.

Police said the single vehicle crash happened at about 8 a.m. on Saturday. A gas tank on the truck ruptured, spilling diesel fuel and causing the fire.

State police said the truck was carrying staging equipment and its cargo wasn't hazardous.
