Oldest eyeglasses on display at Grand Central

NEW YORK The glasses are part of a new display called "Eyewear from the Beginning to the Future: The history of eyeglasses from their invention in Italy to the latest trends."

The display highlights the quality, craftsmanship and innovative design of Italian-made glasses throughout history.

See eyeglasses created in the 14th Century, styles worn by celebrities such as Elton John, other styles throughout history, and even a preview of what will be hot next season.

If you'd like to check out the exhibit, it's being held in Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal until March 24th.

The exhibit is open March 23rd, 8am-10pm, and March 24th from 8am until 5pm.
