Police search for serial robber in New Jersey

Police have spent six months chasing a burglar in New Jersey, and now they're getting frustrated. There have been seven burglaries in Fair Lawn alone. The last two the man burglarized a nail salon, and a pizzeria.

Making a living is hard enough for Etem Ibraimi at Pietro's Pizzaria. Ibraimi says it's the second time the burglar came in and grabbed cash.

Police have released a surveillance picture of the alleged suspect, from a burglary in Elmwood Park in November,

"He goes right to where the register is, and he's out," says Det. Anthony Servao.

The local communities are on the alert. There have been at least 63 burglaries in 15 of New Jersey towns since October of last year. Many in both Bergen and Passaic counties have had multiple burglaries.

Police say a number of them have targeted Chinese restaurants and Asian owned businesses, but investigators don't believe bias is a motive.

In most cases, the damage he inflicts on the businesses is far greater than what he gets from the cash register.

Police say anyone with information is asked to call police.
