Teenage girl attacks attacker

NEW HAVEN, Conn. Police said Kevin Wills of New Haven grabbed the victim as she walked to a friend's house at about 1 a.m. Saturday. They say he tried to drag her into a vacant home while threatening to kill her.

But police say the girl fought back, then stabbed him after she got the knife.

The 41-year-old Wills was arrested after he went to a local hospital for treatment.

Wills faces charges including first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault. He's being held on $500,000 bond and is expected in court this week.

The girl was treated at a local hospital and released.
