The nature of the claim is unknown, but prosecutors say it happened in Lodi on several occasions over the past year.
Jeffery, who is unemployed, is charged with agrravated sex assault, sexaul assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is being held at the Bergen County jail in Hackensack and is scheduled to be arraigned in Lodi next Monday.
