3 shot in Brooklyn, including 5-year old girl

BROOKLYN The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. near 259 Halsey Street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section. The victims were a 5-year old girl, a 23-year old man, and 24-year old man. They were rushed to Kings County Hospital, and all are expected to recover.

The child was shot in the leg and the two men were shot in the arm.

The shooter's black shirt and baseball cap were found dumped a block away from the shooting.

There's been no word yet from police on what may have caused the shooting, or whether the child was an intended target.
