The robbery happened at the Bank of America on Sedgwick Avenue in Darien around 10:30 Monday morning.
The man gave the bank teller a note demanding money, but he did not display a weapon.
He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect had graying hair, was wearing a bright blue yarmulke, a grey waist length "pea coat," and dark pants.
The Darien Police K-9 Unit tracked the suspect to the area of Goodwives Shopping Center, where it is possible that the suspect then left the area in a vehicle. He had left the bank on foot.
