Jurors to see autopsy photos of NJ murder victims

NEWARK The three friends were shot to death in a Newark schoolyard in the summer of 2007. All three, and a fourth victim who survived, attended or were going to attend Delaware State University.

Rodolfo Godinez is the first of six defendants charged in the killings to stand trial. He faces murder, attempted murder and robbery charges.

Earlier Wednesday, a police captain testified about finding a machete allegedly used in the attack.

Newark Police Capt. Derek Glenn said the machete was found near the crime scene about a week after the slayings, raising questions about why the weapon wasn't found earlier by investigators.
