Child allegedly sexually assaulted in public library

NEW YORK Police say the alleged incident took place on Thursday, May 6th, at approximately 5:00pm, at the Seward Park Library.

The suspect approached the victim, a 9-year-old girl, Police say, and then grabbed her by her shirt and while covering her mouth, the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as follows:

A white man in his Mid 40's, 5'9" to 6'0" tall, medium build, short salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, a grey colored cap. Suspect was also carrying a black bag with a strap.
