After more than a year of searching, police believe they've found the body of a missing 46-year-old woman on Long Island. Workers became alarmed after smelling a foul odor in an alley near a steel company in Westbury.

The decomposing body was found in a bag wedged between a huge steel container and the chain link fence. "Today an autopsy took place and it was revealed that this is the body of a female," Naussau Det. Lt. Kevin Smith said.

Police are now looking into the possibility that this woman could be 46-year-old Winsome Perez.

In fact, detectives had been searching the same area last year.

Perez's husband worked at the steel company where the body was found and he vanished right after she went missing.
