Police release surveillance of shooting suspect

BROOKLYN It happened on Jefferson Avenue in the Brownsville section on Friday, April 9th, at 4:41pm.

Police say the suspect shot a 35-year-old man with a semi-automatic firearm in the leg, and then ran away.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The gunman is described as a black man, about 5'7" tall, 140 lbs, and wearing a Yankees hat.
