A family from Queens is making a desperate plea for help. The cremated remains of their beloved mother were stolen from their family van. The cremated remains of their beloved mother were stolen from their family van.

It happened the night before the family was supposed to return to Georgia with those remains, now they are heart sick.

Eileen Dashiell, a retired healthcare worker, was 59 years young when she died.

She leaves behind an extended family including 2 daughters who decided to divide her ashes.

But, a thief broke into her daughter's minivan parked in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx and took everything inside.

One daughter lives in Florida and the other in Georgia.

They have since returned home empty handed and broken hearted.

The daughters filed a police report, but so far, no sign of the electronics, or more importantly, their mother's remains.
