Maplewood, NJ Mothers & More is conducting a campaign to raise awareness about issues that affect mothers everywhere. The Maplewood/South Orange chapter is collecting new or gently used purses and essentials such as cosmetics, fragrances and toiletries during the month of May for mothers in need.
Purses, wallets, new and unused toiletries and other grooming essentials can be brought to the following locations:
- Kari's Café located at 1883 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ
- Jazzberries Center for Music and Art located at 1677 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ

All items collected by the Maplewood/South Orange chapter will be donated directly to the Domestic Violence Intervention Program at La Casa de Don Pedro in Newark. This program provides counseling and activities for victims of domestic violence and their children.
