Long Island teen charged in 2nd plot on high school

BOHEMIA Christopher Franko, who turned 18 on Tuesday, was ordered held without bail after his attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. He is charged with conspiring with another teen to attack former classmates at Connetquot High School.

Prosecutors say the teens were plotting to attack the Bohemia school this Thursday with shotguns and explosives, all aimed at causing as many deaths as possible before killing themselves.

Assistant District Attorney Glenn Kurtzrock noted Franko had been arrested in 2007 as a juvenile for plotting a similar attack on the school. That case was handled in Family Court.
