Three men accused of raping a woman in Central Park were freed Thursday night when the woman involved changed her story.

Investigators say the alleged victim gave them two different accounts of what happened early Sunday morning.

Three 18-year-old men were arrested in connection with the event.

Robert Gonzalez was released from Rikers Island, but was already charged with attempted rape and a criminal sex act.

He is due in court on Friday, where the charges will likely be dropped.

His friends Shawn Martinez and Kelvin Dalrymple were never charged, but were taken in for questioning.

They were released Wednesday.

It's not yet known if the woman will face any charges.
