NJ man gets prison term for stabbing go-go dancer

MORRISTOWN, N.J.

Jenrri Armando-Martinez, who Morris County prosecutors say is an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, will likely be deported once he completes the sentence imposed Friday.

The 22-year-old Morristown resident admitted using an 8-inch kitchen knife to stab the woman last August after she decided not to have sex with him in his apartment but refused to return his money.

The victim, who was stabbed in the abdomen, has recovered from her wounds.

Armando-Martinez pleaded guilty in May to aggravated assault as part of a plea bargain in which prosecutors dropped several other charges, including attempted murder and robbery.
