Police say Anthony Novellino was picked up by U.S. Marshals at the Motel Puyallup Thursday night.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Puyallup City Jail.
The 63-year-old was wanted for questioning in the murder of ex-wife, Judith Novellino, who was stabbed more than 80 times in her home last weekend.
Anthony Novellino was named as a person of interest in the killing. The couple had reportedly just finished a nasty divorce, but Anthony Novellino was still living in the home.
Additionally, he was charged with threatening to harm her divorce lawyer in Boonton.
Judith Novellino's funeral is Saturday morning at St. Ann Church in Parsippany.
