Morris County Prosecutor announced Anthony Novellino has been charged with murder, and possession of a weapon in the death of his ex-wife Judith Novellino.
Judith Novellino's lifeless body was discovered by her daughter on June 19 at her Denville home
The victim died of multiple stab wounds.
At that time, Mr. Novellino was classified by this office as a "person of interest" in this investigation. He was also charged out of the Town of Boonton on a terroristic threat charge that had been filed the day after the homicide by the former attorney of the victim.
Mr. Novellino was found and arrested in Washington State and returned to New Jersey on June 28. He waived extradition and was returned to New Jersey by Morris County Prosecutor and Denville Police detectives late Monday night.
He is currently being held in the Morris County Jail in lieu of $750,000 bail.
