Two women injured in Queens hit and run

QUEENS Witnesses say the women were getting out of a car on 93rd street in the Corona section when they were hit.

Police say the driver kept going and was stopped a few blocks away.

The women were rushed to the hospital and are in serious condition.

The driver was given a breathalyzer test.

He was taken away in handcuffs and later charged with DWI, vehicular assault and leaving the scene of an accident.
