Good Samaritans pull woman from burning SUV

A driver in Connecticut has some Good Samaritans to thank for safely pulling her from a flame-engulfed SUV.

The accident happened on the southbound side of the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan. Just moments after the driver lost control and slammed into a guardrail, flames quickly took over the vehicle.

The crash caused traffic to be backed up for miles, making it difficult for firefighters to reach the accident and put out the fire.

The driver is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word yet on what caused her to crash.
