Power restored on all PATH service

NEW YORK

Service suspensions started at 6:15 p.m. when a power cable caught fire near the Hoboken station.

All PATH lines except for the Newark to World Trade Center line were suspended in all directions.

Service was back to normal on the Hoboken to 33rd Street line by 9:00 p.m. Officals said service between Hoboken to the World Trade Center would remain suspended all night, but that service was restored early Saturday morning.

No trains were stuck between stations and no passengers were evacuated.
