Drunk drivers in New York state will soon have a much tougher time getting behind the wheel.

On August 15, New York becomes the 10th state to adopt a new high-tech drunk driving measure.

Anyone convicted of DWI, even first-timers, will have an ignition interlock device installed in their car that will prevent them from starting it if they've had too much to drink.
