Child lured in Randolph Township

Police say a 12-year-old boy was riding on his bicycle on Radtke Road on Thursday afternoon. when the driver of a silver, older model sedan stopped next to him and demanded for the boy to "get in." Police say the boy responded quickly and yelled back at the driver and the driver sped away leaving the area.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old man with long hair and was wearing a dark shirt.

The Randolph Twp. Police Dept. requests that parents reinforce with their children the importance of not talking to strangers and to report any attempts or contacts to parents or police immediately.
