It happened on Saturday, July 10th around 5:10 p.m. on 5th Avenue in Sunset Park.
The two suspects apparently approached the victim from behind while he was walking with a female companion.
One suspect punched the victim in the face, while the second stabbed the victim in the chest.
The man was treated for his injuries, and has since been released from the hospital.
