An 18th century ship found buried near the World Trade Center site in New York is in Maryland Tuesday.

The ship will be treated and reassembled at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory, which specializes in ship wrecks.

Historians believe the ship was junked in the early 1800s and used as landfill to extend the shores of Lower Manhattan.

Lab analysis will determine the vessel's exact age.
