Police in the Connecticut town of East Windsor have arrested an Enfield woman they suspect of accepting stolen beer from a delivery truck driven by the man who fatally shot eight co-workers at a beer distributor.

East Windsor police dispatcher Sharon Bourke tells The Associated Press that officers arrested 33-year-old Christy Quail on Friday afternoon after receiving a videotape showing her accepting beer from a truck driven by Omar Thornton.

Police charged her with sixth-degree larceny and release her on bond. She is scheduled for arraignment on Aug. 17.

Nine people died in the shootings Tuesday at Hartford Distributors in Manchester, including the gunman. Thornton told police in a 911 call that he wanted to avenge racial discrimination, allegations that company officials denied.

Quail did not immediately respond to a call for comment.
