The Apollo Theater is legendary and the exhibit called "Aint nothing like the real thing" looks at the history of the theater that dates back nearly 100 years.
There was a short period when the theater closed, but since 2001 its audience has been growing to over 400,000 people a year. The exhibit was organized by the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture will be on display until May 1, 2011.
