This morning, we're shining a light on an important women's health issue through a very personal journey.

Eyewitness news reporter Stacey Sager tells us how she fought ovarian cancer - and why women need to take charge when it comes to their health.

Also in the studio, Laura Royse ? an outreach coordinator for the NYC outreach network of Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, the only national non-profit dedicated to fighting hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

Finally, we will discuss just how much progress we have made in fighting this disease. Kristina Thomson - Director of the Strategic Health Initiative with American Cancer Society of NY and NJ, leads our discussion.
