It was a big day for the new Willis Avenue Bridge Monday, as Mayor Michael Bloomberg marked the final major stage of installation.

After traveling up the East River in July to reach its new home, the new span is now in position to link Manhattan with the South Bronx.

DOT officials say traffic should be rolling across the $612 million bridge by November.
