Funeral Tuesday for 8th victim in CT rampage

MANCHESTER, Conn. On Monday, Governor Jodi Rell led a moment of silence in memory of the victims. She designated Monday a day of mourning to honor the eight men killed at Hartford Distributors in Manchester.

The town of Manchester has scheduled a special service Tuesday evening for the workers at Hartford Distributors. The service is set for 6:30 p.m. at the North United Methodist Church.

Also, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which represents workers at the plant, has established a memorial fund to raise money for the families of the victims.

Authorities say company driver Omar Thornton killed eight people and himself following a meeting in which he resigned after being shown video evidence of him stealing beer. Two other people who were shot survived.
