The Manhattan District Attorney's office sent out an alert Friday asking Washington residents to come forward with information about Hugues-Denver Akassy.
He's charged in New York with raping a Russian tourist last month in Riverside Park, lurking on another woman's fire escape and harassing a third woman. His lawyer didn't immediately return a call.
The 42-year-old Akassy is being held on $100,000 bail.
The Ivory Coast native's website says he runs a public-affairs TV production company. But some of those listed as producers and sponsors have told newspapers they never worked with him.
