Small plane crashes, hits car in southern NJ

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac said the Piper J-3 Cub came down in the front yard of a Monroe Township home around 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

The pilot, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was the only person aboard the plane. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No one on the ground was injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
