Stress can make PMS worse

Researchers suggest that stress levels could determine how severe a woman's menstrual cycle will be.

A study published in the "Journal of Women's Health" found women who said they felt stressed two weeks before the beginning of menstruation, were two to four times more likely to report moderate to severe pre-menstrual symptoms.

Those symptoms included mood swings, depression, fatigue and general aches.
