Two men are under arrest in connection with a shooting that injured a 15-year-old girl in Newark.

Police say an argument on South 14th Street may have driven a 21-year-old man to open fire on a crowded street Tuesday morning.

The teenager was wounded and remains at University Hospital.

James Anderson is the accused gunman.

Maplewood resident Steven Hemmings was also arrested and was pegged as the alleged getaway driver.

Both men are charged with aggravated assault and several weapons offenses.
