The New York City Department of Education has new jobs for hundreds of teachers who've been kept for years in so-called rubber rooms.

More then 400 teachers were pulled from their classrooms for disciplinary reasons and then assigned to do nothing in those rubber rooms.

The city and the teachers union have agreed to use rubber-room teachers for busy-work in various district offices.
