Hugues-Denver Akassy is charged with sexually assaulting, stalking or otherwise bothering six women. He's also accused of continuing to go to gyms that had banned him. Charges involving three of the women were added Wednesday.
Charges involving the three others and the gym had been unveiled previously.
His lawyer says any sexual encounters were consensual.
The 42-year-old from Ivory Coast had a website that says he's an experienced television reporter and host. Prosecutors say the work he cites is plagiarized. His lawyer doesn't "completely agree."
