Stony Brook dorm evacuated in HazMat scare

Authorities continue to investigate a HazMat situation that forced the evacuation of dorm at Stony Brook University on Long Island.

HazMat teams and police evacuated the entire building Sunday night.

Several students were treated for throat and eye irritation, but there were no serious injuries.

A resident adviser tripped an alarm on the third floor of Hand College.

Students were allowed back into their dorm just before 11 p.m.
