A Long Island woman accused of trying to run over police officers after being stopped for a traffic violation was arrested.

Suffolk County police say Mary Quinn was pulled over in Deer Park at 5 p.m. Monday. After the officer spoke to her, police say she fled and headed south on Route 231. During the pursuit, police say she intentionally struck four police vehicles and attempted to run over several officers on foot.
