Girl, 12, attacked in Jamaica, Queens

Police are looking for a man who tried to rape a 12-year-old girl in Jamaica, Queens. The incident happened at 3:50 on Tuesday afternoon.

The girl was walking on the street when the suspect approached from behind.

Police said he grabbed the girl's arm and pulled her to the side of a building, where he attempted to sexually assault her.

The girl screamed and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Investigators released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as a black man, approximately 40 years of age. He is 5-foot-8 tall with a thin build and a dark complexion.
