Police search for UWS sexual assault suspect

NEW YORK

In two separate incidents, the suspect is accused of forcibly touching the victim before stealing their cell phones and fleeing.

The first incident happened on May 2, in the vicinity of Manhattan Avenue and Columbus Avenue. There were no injuries sustained to the 30-year-old victim as a result of the incident.

The more recent incident took place on Sept. 26, also in the vicinity of Manhattan Avenue and Columbus Avenue. The 24-year-old suspect suffered minor injuries and was treated at Bellevue Hospital.

The suspect is described as being a black male, 25-33 years old, 6'0"-6'3", and 205 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with dark jeans and white sneakers.
