Hunt on for suspect in Queens sex assault

Police are searching for a man who attemted to sexually assault a woman in Bayside, Queens.

Authorities say a 24-year-old woman was walking on Bell Boulevard just before 6 a.m. Sunday when the suspect approached her from behind, grabbed her and forced her into the vestibule of a building.

The suspect threw the victim to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her. She reportedly screamed, and the suspect fled the location in an unknown direction.

Police are still looking for him.

He is described as a Hispanic man with light skin in his mid 20s. He is approximately 5foot-7, with a medium build and dark colored hair.
