NYPD: 10th arrested in anti-gay beatings

BRONX

Jose Dominguez surrendered to Bronx special victims detectives early Tuesday. He was arrested on charges of assault, unlawful imprisonment and aggravated harassment as hate crimes.

It wasn't clear if he had an attorney. No one answered the phone at an address provided by police.

Dominguez and nine others were accused in Oct. 3 attacks on two teens and two men. Police say the attacks involved a street gang called the Latin King Goonies.

A ninth suspect, Rudy Vargas-Perez, was awaiting arraignment Tuesday. Relatives insisted he was innocent.
