Metro North and several city agencies held the drill to test their response to a train crash.
The goal was to make sure different agencies work together efficiently in the case of a real emergency. The results of the drill will now be reviewed and used to improve emergency response procedures.
There is also a full-scale disaster drill planned for Sunday in Long Island City.
More than 900 personnel from city agencies, the MTA, and the Red Cross will take part in the exercise.
