Downed wire slowing Amtrak, NJ Transit

SOUTH BRUNSWICK

Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari workers are repairing the downed wire, which is in South Brunswick.

Magliari says Amtrak trains are operating three to five minutes behind schedule.

NJ Transit spokesman Dan Stessel says Northeast Corridor trains out of Trenton are about 30 minutes behind schedule.

Passengers in Hamilton and Princeton Junction won't have use of the platform and will have to use the steps to board.
