Election Day warning in Connecticut

November 17, 2010 9:09:04 AM PST
Voters in Connecticut may have to watch what they wear on Election Day.

Anyone who goes to the polls wearing a t-shirt promoting World Wrestling Entertainment might be contested by election officials. WWE is the company formerly run by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon.

Promoting the company within 75 feet of a polling place could be considered a violation of election laws.

Poll workers may ask voters to go home and change their clothes.
