The two men accused in the murder of a transgender woman in Maplewood, New Jersey, entered not guilty pleas Wednesday.

Investigators say 25-year-old Marquise Foster and 23-year-old Alrashim Chambers shot and killed Victoria Carmen White last month.

Foster reportedly met the victim at a nightclub.

Detectives believe White was killed because of her sexual orientation.
