Two gas station attendants were shot, one fatally, during a robbery gone bad in the Bronx Thursday night.

Police say the workers were held up at the Shell station on Bartow Avenue just after 11:45 p.m.

One of them reportedly struggled with the armed suspect, who opened fire.

A 35-year-old attendant was shot three times in the leg, but one of the bullets punctured a major artery.

He was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.

The second attendant, a 37-year-old man, was shot in the left arm. He is in stable condition.

The suspect sped away in a white BMW without any money.

No arrests were immediately made.
