Missing woman found in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ Anne Donohue, who was reported missing from Manchester Township yesterday, was the focus of a joint Police investigation involving the Manchester Township Police Department and the Paterson Police Department as a possible abduction case.

Witnesses say they saw 30-year-old Anne Donahue being dragged up the railroad tracks by two black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts near Hamilton Avenue and Straight Street in Paterson on Monday.

Police say they found evidence at the scene that corroborated the witnesses' statements.

Her 2001 Four Door Bronze Chevrolet Impala was found Tusday morning on Harrison Avenue near Jelsma Place.

Hours later, Donahue was found at 2:00 p.m. on the corner of Market Street and East 32nd Street in Paterson.

Patrol officers, who were given a photo of Donohue, recognized her sitting on a corner.

Donohue was taken to the Detective Bureau for questioning, and then to St. Joseph's Hospital to be examined.
