Police say it happened in Spring Valley in Rockland County last Thursday night.
Selina Johnson is mortified at the thought of the 16-year old girl, who police say was forced to perform oral sex on a man, just a few feet from where Johnson lives and is raising her own children.
"I can't even imagine what she was thinking about. She must have been terrified. I know I would have been," Johnson said. "No little girl should go through that at all."
Police say Karen Morbeth, 30, and Marco Blandino, 18, held the teen against her will while Brendan Velasquez, 18, recorded the sex act on his blackberry.
"I hope it's not true because he's a good kid," said Arthur Lorde, a friend of one of the suspects.
Police say it happened at a house on Lafayette Street in Spring Valley, where neighbors say Morbeth lives with her mother and three children. They say they're quiet and keep to themselves.
"I don't really know Karen, just hello and that's about it. I gave her things like furniture, and stuff every once in a while," said neighbor Thomas Atkins.
Police say they eventually freed the 16-year old girl but that wasn't the end of it. Blandino allegedly went to the victim's house with two other men, dragged her outside, and beat her up.
Her mother called the police. Blandino's grandfather, who only identified himself as Jean, didn't make excuses for his grandson, who has lived with him for a year.
"It's not something I expect to get from him is the only thing I can tell you. Because they are kids, but you don't know what he's doing outside, outside the house," Jean said.
Velasquez is charged with two felony counts of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child .
Morbeth and Blandino were both charged with first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree criminal sex act.
On Wednesday, a 17 year old girl and a 14 year old girl were arrested in connection to this case. There may be one more person involved, but police were still investigating.
The 17 year old girl has ties to Spring Valley, but authorities say she is from Stamford, CT. She was charged with criminal sexual act in the 1st degree and unlawful imprisonment. Both are felonies. She is being held on bail.
The 14 year old girl is from Nanuet, NY. She is charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child and promoting a sexual performance by a child, also both felonies. She was released to her mother and the case was referred to family court.
Their names were not released because of their ages.
